Construcción colaborativa de una guía interactiva para el uso sostenible de La Tatacoa

La Tatacoa es un territorio localizado en el municipio de Villavieja – Huila, Colombia, es un bosque tropical seco y frágil, el cual se considera erradamente como un desierto. Desde los medios de comunicación se sigue extendiendo este error y adicionalmente se promueve la recreación turística sin considerar los conceptos del ecoturismo, motivo por el cual se ha hecho una explotación desmedida de los recursos naturales, atentando con el paisaje y la naturaleza. En el territorio habitan personas de escasos recursos económicos que no cuentan con formación en educación ambiental, razón por la cual se extiende la problemática. Algunos residentes de dicha población en búsqueda de recursos económicos, asumen el papel de guías turísticos, actividad que ejercen en su mayoría de forma empírica y es mal orientada al turismo que accede a actividades que afectan la naturaleza del territorio. Esta investigación-creación está orientada bajo la metodología del pensamiento de diseño en la que se indaga sobre los sitios de interés turístico de la zona en donde se concentra la mayor actividad comercial y turística de La Tatacoa, que es promovida con intereses ajenos al turismo sostenible. Por lo tanto, con la participación de la comunidad local y de algunos visitantes de la zona, se creó una guía digital e interactiva virtual que le permite a los usuarios tener acceso a información que los oriente por La Tatacoa en términos de turismo sostenible como estrategia para promover los hábitos sugeridos que son amigables con el paisaje y la naturaleza, a su vez generar conciencia ambiental para el mejoramiento y preservación del lugar desde las prácticas de actividades de voluntariado. El principal resultado de esta investigación denominado “Ecotatacoa”, se consolidó en un portal web que se almacenó en un servidor conectado al dominio web https://latatacoa.com.

This research-creation investigates is oriented under the methodology of design thinking that investigates the sites of tourist interest in the area where the greatest commercial and tourist activity of La Tatacoa is concentrated, which is promoted with interests far from sustainable tourism. Therefore, with the participation of the local community and some visitors from the area, an interactive digital guide was created. This allows users access information that guides them through La Tatacoa in terms of sustainable tourism as a strategy that promotes friendly habits with landscape and nature; and in turn generate environmental awareness for the improvement and preservation of the place from the practices of volunteer activities. The main result of this research called "EcoTatacoa" was consolidated in a web portal that was stored on a server connected to the web domain https://latatacoa.com.
