Specific Policies
ICMJE authorship criteria apply. Authors are considered to be those who:
All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results.
We encourage transparency and data sharing. Authors are encouraged to deposit their datasets in public repositories.
Authors must ensure they have written entirely original works, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited.
In line with the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), we advocate for a system that values the merit of scientific work based on its intrinsic quality and its impact on knowledge, rather than relying solely on journal metrics, such as the impact factor.
We endorse responsible research assessment and promote practices that foster transparency, diversity, and equity in the recognition of academic work. We firmly believe in the need to broaden evaluation criteria, considering the social reach of findings and the real educational impact they generate.
From Entropía Educativa, we invite our academic communities to adopt more inclusive and equitable approaches in valuing scientific production. We are committed to applying rigorous and fair criteria in our own evaluations, contributing to building a more open and collaborative academic ecosystem.
